Ok I have to commend you on fessing up and knowing that you have some flaws and those flaws in character caused the break up with this girl. But the reality is she has made her choice and has moved on with another guy. I understand that it is hard for you to see this guy with her and he is a jerk. But you have to think that she made the choice of being with this guy. You have nothing to do with her, romantically, anymore. I think that there is really nothing you can do to get her back. What I will tell you is that you need to work on yourself and change your ways for good so when you do meet another girl you can be true to yourself and to that girl too. This is what life is about. You live and you learn. But what puts you up from the rest is that you actually do something with what you learned and not make the same mistakes in the future. I am a strong believer that if a love is meant to be it will flourish again. The best advise I can give you is to just be her friend but only if you can really handle and stay out of her romantic business. If you behave in a way that you can show her that you have changed for the better then she may come around back to you but only if you are really changing for good. Give it a try but if your jealousy and paranoia are overtaking your mind and actions then it will be best to leave her completely alone for now and have no contact.
