Why does the rest of the first world have a stronger middle cl?

I agree that something needs to be done about the widening wealth gap in America. If nothing is done about it, the economy will slowly weaken and government will become corrupt. I agree with you that the US should at least CONSIDER altering bits of its economic policies, not to imitate Europeans, but to change it for the betterment of the American people. Of course that's never going to happen, so...we can only hope.
