Why do people think Michael Jackson could not have been a pedophile?

It goes both ways, there are also people who are 100% certain he was a pedophile. That because he was so interested in children, it could only mean that he had to be a molester. They ignore that fact that MJ is like a child himself, resulting from a very abnormal and non existent childhood. I agree with the person who says that he was wrong and misguided in some of his actions towards children (sharing a bed namely) but that that was probably the extent of it. But who knows, only he does and the children. Everyone else just has an opinion.
